KD Solar modules come with a 25 years warranty on the power production of its panels. As there are no moving parts, the only wear-and-tear of these systems are from daily sun exposure and this is factored into the 25 years warranty. This warranty states that by the end of the 10th year, the panels should still be producing at 90% of their initial capacity, and that by the end of the 20th year, they should still be producing at 80% of their rated power. KD Solar will honor the warranty to replace all defective panels for free in 5 years.

KD Solar has acquired IEC 61215, IEC 61730 certifications given by TÜV. Also, we have been awarded ISO 9001. By achieving generating power tolerance of ±3%, KD modules meet global standards using only “A” level solar cells with a strict quality control through the entire production process. UL certification and CEC(California Energy Commission) is currently in progress (January 2010 expected filing).
