KD Solar to accept an order for the solar project from Australia

KD Solar, the manufacturer of solar modules has lately received an order for the 2MW from the recent Australian government project of ‘National Solar Schools Program.’
KD Solar has come to supply the solar power generation equipments to public schools in the area of Western Australia by the end of 2010, and the amount of the order reaches the size of \13 billion on the basis of construction.
The acceptance of order for this project has significant meanings to KD Solar seeing that its modules and technological capacity have been proved in the global market. In addition, by taking this opportunity, KD Solar plans to actively carve out the solar market not only in other regions of Australia but also in other countries.
On the other hand, KD Solar has lately been selected by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy as a leading industry R&D business in the Chungcheong wide-ranged economic zone, and plans to develop the ‘Module of silicon solar cell with concentrator’.
The objective of this R&D project is to improve the efficiency in solar cells up to 15~30%, cutting the price of the solar cell module down to more than 30% per watt, which will proceed in the end of 2011.
